Amici,
Has anyone else experienced with their PS4 that the Key Ring Attachment keeps falling out of the handle? It gets to the point that it engages with the slightest movement of the tool.

Cheers,
Serge

Is there by any chance a factory Black Oxide Squirt? That would be awesome.

There's black, mine pictured here http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,23343.0.html, for example, but there is no black oxide PS4.

Besides being stealth, I like that when (notice I didn't say "if") the scales get scratched (which is inevitable in keychain carry at least) one can easily patch the mark by an application of black Sharpie pen. Only upon very close examination would one actually see the repair job. The repair itself will also eventually flake off but this may take months or even years and when it does happen simply reapply more Sharpie!  :)

I want one.  How do I make sure it has torx?

^PS4's made after July of this year converted to rivets "for a smoother fit in the pocket" according to LM. The only way to get a new PS4 with the older Torx threaded design would be if one can find a dealer that bought a huge quantity before the conversion and is still selling through those or to buy a used one that was manufactured prior to July. Be careful, LM uses the same old picture in their literature and on the outside of the blister packed boxes of the older design even though what's inside has rivots. They never bothered to change the picture because for 99% of average Joe buyers they'll never know or care about this, what they deem, "subtle change". Good luck.

That sounds like absolute nonsense to me, but I would gladly be educated as to how it could have a "smoother fit in the pocket" when the tool is usually attached to a key-chain  ???

Anyway, I've gone and done some damage to mine. Take a look

I (foolishly) tried using it to cut some cable ties behind a server rack   Now the scissors are next to useless (they won't even close properly without 'catching')  :'( :'( :'(

How can I fix them? Or can I send them in for a repair under warranty?

Warranty will cover it :)

That right there is why I have spare scissors lying around just in case...

Thank you!

I wonder if they'll send me the scissors without me sending in my PS4? I'm going to miss it terribly if it leaves my key-chain. Although I guess its Victorinox Climber predecessor will be glad to see some action again!

No, you have to send it in and wait a month or so. If thats too long you can buy a Style online, that has the scissors...

Who's selling them in a brick and mortar store?  I couldn't find one in Target today.  Walmart?  Bass Pro Shop?  That's where I got my Gerber.

I figure, if I can see it I can tell if it has rivets or not.
