What is alox?!

ALOX refers to aluminium scales used on 93mm Swiss Army Knives (SAKs) like the one in the picture here. They can be anodized in different colors.

OHT is Leathermans answer to the flicky Gerbers. It stands for One Handopening Tool,as AFSIK all the tools open one handed
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

This phrase was originally used referring to fuel consumption of cars, but now has a broader meaning more along the lines of:  "That is my experience in my context, your experience/situation may well be different".
babola: "Enjoy your tools and don't be afraid to air your opinion and feelings here, but do it in courteous and respectable way toward others, of course."

Is any "powerful person" interested in updating post #1 in this thread ?  If they are, I can suggest a few more:

CE  Combo Edge (part-serrated, part plain knife blade)

PE  Plain Edge (knife blade)

SE  Serrated Edge (knife blade)

OHO  One Hand Opening (usually a knife blade but can be files etc)

OHT  Leatherman MT with "flicky" pliers
