How do you get the folding lanyard ring out?  I usually have to use another tool to pry it out.  I don't care for folding lanyard rings, but I care even less for tools that I can't even get at.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

That is eactly the only way I have been able to get it out. It doesn't bother me because I don't use it. They could have used the space for something else though.

What I do have a problem with is getting out the flat screwdrivers on the KF4. The S2 has cutaway notches that makes it easy to get them out, but the KF4 cannot have them because there are tools on the outside on both sides of the screwdrivers. Getting them out on the KF4 usually mean breaking my nails to do it.

I find the Juice line far from perfect, but there is nothing else comparable on the market.

Now that I think about it Ive never taken the lanyard out.  Maybe LM thought that if you were going to use the lanyard it would be attached to something, so you wouldn't be taking it out and folding it back alot. But I agree with Def, I hate tools that are hard to get out.

I pretty much just ignore the folding ring.besides, if you look at the Juice it has to be a small tool because otherwise it would cut into the philips driver

You do have a point there.  I guess I am glad that if they were going to put on in, then it's at least it's not flimsy.

I just took a look at my juice and I guess I really didn't inspect it that close because I didn't even know it had a lanyard ring on it.  I had to use another tool just to get it out.  I have rethought my opinions of lanyards now after my initial post (somewhere else on here) that I didn't see the point in them... I will most likely use the lanyard on here now that I know it's there.  I almost dropped my KF4 outta the fishing boat a couple weeks back.

When near water you always want to use a lanyard!  That's the one time I absolutely insist on tying things down cause a multi will sink faster trying to escape than I can to try and catch it!

The Juice models are ok with the bright colors cause they may not be as hard to find on a silt covered bottom, but I'd rather avoid the whole mess altogether!
