Hi, I have lurked around here off and on for awhile, decided to give it a try.

My current favorite MT is the  previous gen leatherman charge tti. I've owned a few LMs throughout the years but I like this one.
I also have a handful of the LM squirts and skeletools.

My main interest is knives though.  Older Kershaws and ZT's. I have had a bunch of different Alox Saks and the like too!

Got a few G-shocks and flashlights to go with the collection too!

Anywho,  hi and thanks for having me!

welcome

Hi guys new here, I've been carrying a victorinox swisstool for quite some time now but had to recently send it in for repair bent the pry bar trying to get a shaft collar off a formula sae race car. Other than my swisstool I carry a victorinox manager and am thinking about getting one of those one piece tools to save my multitool from abuse.

Victorinox: Swisstool, Manager

Hi everyone, noobie here from Ireland, I've been the previous owner of two Leatherman waves, I'm still optimistic that I'll find one down the back of the couch. Came on here to research my latest purchase, more later.

Hi all,
Long time listener, first time caller. Recently bought a Sog powerlock that I was deeply unhappy with. Just purchased a LM Surge to replace it. Then a Bear & Sons Gardener ::) Hoping to do a little modding as well because I'm dissapointed at the lack of secateur based multitools!

Thanks Poncho :)  Not sure quite yet but I think I might want to try to steal the tools from a Wave and a Buck X-tract essential and get them into a smaller package, maybe one of the sides of a wave or maybe a Signal ... might be to big for my first attempt to I may try my hand at something smaller first.  Ultimate goal is to get something thin (pocket carry) with a large blade, large scissors, screwdriver (phillips and flat) and maybe tweezers and a light.  We will see  ???

It's not my first post here but since I'm starting to like it here I might as well introduce myself.

Somewhere around my 9th birthday I bought my first pocket knife. Since that day the Handyman has always been in my pocket.
It's a trusty companion. I misplaced it somewhere in 2006 and had to buy another. Chances are my original knife is still in a box somewhere, I hope to get that one back someday.
Since that day I collected some more SAKs and only on very rare occasions I took a different model instead of my Handyman. Most of the time another knife will be a secondary carry.

I found this place because I was looking for a way to distinguish a Traveller from it's digital scaled counterparts. I took a look around the forums and really liked what I saw. The threads with the pictures (inside, outside, with another knife, upside down and whatnot) are truly awesome.
Also, the treads of modded SAKs are greatly entertaining and I cought the DIY bug. I'll be on the lookout for some cheap second hand SAKs to give that a go.
The only modding I have done upto this day are rescaling. I rescaled my Handyman with Black Celidor Plus scales 20 years after I got it. And I did some rescaling for others.

I have some interest in other knives, I have some regular folders like a Spyderco and a Böker+ (my goal is to have a folder for every day of the week). These are always a secondary carry. I never leave the house without a SAK.

The Traveller I was after is now used as a pockesmurfch at work. Since we can't wear wrissmurfches in the hospital I'm forced to other alternatives. And I can't say I'm bothered, just another excuse to carry a SAK!

Hello everyone, I'm Jim. I have been lurking for a couple weeks.
I just recently got my first SAK, an orange farmer (lives on my keys).  Now, I'm looking @ a pioneer x for my next.
I have been a knife nut for a long time. I also have a 3rd gen (learned that here lol) SCHRADE TOUGH tool, that sits in a tray on my coffee table lol. I'm a carpener by trade so i usually have a whole belt of tools on and see no need to edc it.I edc a red SNAP-ON Kershaw blur
I need to come up with a cool pic for the sak thread.
Well thats all for now

Just to say first halo to all good people here!

As long as I remember, I had some kind of pocket knife with me. At the very beginning it was simple, small, cheap folder. As time goes by, my edc evolve with me. :climber:

Now I have 50+ folders, saks, multitools, from cheap ones to samples worth several hundred dollars.

Greetings to all!
