My LM ST300 sheath
« on: October 19, 2010, 06:30:13 AM »
Hello there..
Just made this sheath for my ST300 BO. This time I put up something different from before and here you are

Wrap around vertical and horizantal belt loop

This time I put 2pcs additional eyelets for accesory attachment system. This will allow me to attach keydex to hold some flash light or fire steel. The unfinished kydex flashlight holder.

thanks for watching

Very nice. I especially like the accessory attachement system, there's a lot of potential in that when you wear it horizontally

Hi Sean

this one took the shortest time.
17/10 start wet forming - 1.5hrs (drying time not included)
 18/10 completed - stitching ~ dying - 4hrs

Those 2 button snaps got me thinking.
Would it be possible to make a sheath that opened from the top for vertical carry (like most MT sheath), and opened from the longer side for horizontal carry (like some cell phone pouches)?

For instance, the snap attached to the brown leather would stay the same, but the snap connected to the darker leather would make the sheath open from the side (that would be the "top" if the sheath were carried horizontally).

By the way, amazing work as always!

hi there, some updates for the sheath with additional accesories.

LM monarch 400 flash light holder, fasterned with chicago screws

* flash light hold tight with friction pad

MOLLE clip? made from leather (will try with kydex later) for vertical carry. suitable for jeans belt up to 1.5" wide

The pre-cut vertical carry slot is located too low to the center of the sheath. The sheath touch belly and it is uncomfartable especially in stting position.

The sheath moved down to belt height.

Horizontal carry with & without flash light

More to come. thanks for watching

Landroza
