Juice C2 - It isn't just for breakfast any more.

My 2003 Juice C2 is currently enjoying a WD40 bath along with a few of its cousins.

Current family shot. Always looking to add to the coloection!   :multi:

I think first to add must be Original Juice SX  :salute:

Very nice pic. I love the vibrant original Juice colors. I started my collection as well. At this point the original Juice SX seem to be almost impossible to find. The surfer dudes probably threw them away when they got rusty and gritty with sand. Anyone who has one is very lucky and post a pic please so we can see.

I think much time, energy, perseverance and attention to detail might have helped you be "luckier"  :pok:   ;)

I picked up a Juice CS4 Blue at EMS last week on a 'Take $20 off $75 or more' sale. Makes a great in-between my tiny Squirts and My Wave or Wingman. Good to have a cork screw on at least one tool I suppose too.
Here are a few pics....(Whoops attached wrong pics...pics in next message)

Seems I had better luck this time.
This one arrived with sharp scissors, no plier rubbing/sticking against straight drivers, perfectly even edge bevels on blade and overall crisp and sound with good "snick".
Like it. With the suspension pocket clip this rides perfectly without noticing, is slimmer than a two layer SAK and I can one hand open the blade.

Have had the S2 and CS4 and just got a new model XE6
Why did they shorten the blades?
Going to EDC it for a bit and see if it can top my Swisschamp

They thought the airlines were going to start allowing short blades again. They didn't, but Leatherman had committed to the tooling already.

Just got a Juice S2 in a few days ago & wanted to spend some time with it, before saying what I thought of it. Oiled it up and all the tools open nice. The pliers are a bit tight but with a little opening and closing are going to loosen up just fine.
I was worried about the scissors opened up 90 degrees and they have a bit of play. Once the spring contacts the handle they tighten up an cut fine. There is a bevel on the handle where the spring contacts it & that takes the play out of the handle. I cut some 10 lb mono and some 30 & 50 lb braid, along with some paper, they work great.
This is my first tool with scissors so I not sure if I'll ever use them but at least I can say I have a MT with scissors.
It's going to make a nice fishing tool & if the scales were the same color it might even look good.
Has anyone tried polishing thee color off the handle?

Nice. Don't miss the 30 day Juice challenge in November.  http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,62360.0.html
 I'm entering with my S2.
I find the size and form factor perfect for EDC.

I just received a old cs4 from 2003, in not really good condition (lot of idents, awl broken etc cheap price.). I hesitate to send it to repair as i probably will get a new one with the new blade. Advices?

Reshape the awl, give it a good clean and oiling, sharpen the blades, and carry it a while. I find putting tools to use is the best way of deciding whether they have a long term future with me, or if they need more work to be worth keeping

Time to join the club! Today I pitted my OG Juice S2 against my breakfast: a mango.

Success! Not bad for a short little knife.

I love my juice S2 original. After a pst mini, skeletool then a charge tti I've finally found the leatherman that suits all my daily needs. I just wish leathermans weren't a function art. I just can't say no. Here is the S2 in action

You can go naked... rip off the scales. Might be able to reprofile that awl too.

In fact i quite like the damaged handle, kind of a charm.
Awl and blade have been reshaped, no big deal. I quite like it but the lack of nail file make me have a micra also, and that's quite redundant.
I need to find a workaround to solve this "big" problem (yes i love nail file, really really love it, and I use it!)
I know the XE6 have a file but it's too big and heavy, the cs4 seems quite the perfect size for me.

Maybe i will send my cs4 for repair if one of my other leatherman break, just to have a good shape one (even if the new blade isn't pretty), but i will not send it alone, not worth the cost.
