Wow.  Even by UK LM prices, that's a beauty.

No way I'd buy any Leatherman from a UK retail now, except perhaps CostCo. They had some bargain Core/Crafer sets for £35 last time I went.

Even with shipping and import taxes, you'll still save buying from the US = Win.  If you don't get stung by customs = Win Win.

I'll have a check down the back of the sofa, but I suspect that's not going to yield quite enough.  :-\

That's insane.  Does it come in a gold box or something?  Total madness.

I'd love to know who is buying this at that price in the UK

While it doesn't say so in the description, it is aimed at the firearm user. Surely anyone who has a clue, i.e. MTO members, will not be buying Leathermans in the UK.

Is this the only version for UK release?

Here in Belgium the MUT costs 275 € (=  £ 233,5 ) for the "normal" version, the version with the cap-crimper even costs 295 € ( = £ 250,5) ...  :o

That's why I didn't buy my MUT at the local outdoorshop, but on the internet  ;).

Do bear in mind that is probably one of the cheapest prices over here.  Would expect a high street shop to be even higher.

Ah, now we see.  The MUT actually costs Leatherman more than MSRP to produce but they getting kickbacks from the firearms manufacturers!

Got me one
Swoped it for the wife, what else am I going to spend her handbag and shoe fund on.
Seriously it's perfect for my job the eod version.
The c4 spike undoos shackles ,the cable tie cutter saves blunting the blade(cut a few of those and then try to cut rope).
Ok the price is bloody steep , but if it lasts as long as my charge I'll be well happy.

Where in EU can you still legally own an AR-15?

I thought the effeminate public servants managed to ban all firearms.
