How would you rate charge tti as an edc weared on the pocket clip?

Isn't it too heavy or clumsy for pocket carry?

I love my skeletool but want to try some more featured multitool:)

Depends on your trousers. With most jeans a Charge would be uncomfortable for EDC. Loose trousers, like chinos, and a belt works quite well.

If you have a Skeletool you really have the best Leatherman EDC. A Charge might work though. I EDC'd mine for three months recently. (right now back to lightweight Swiss army knives)

Personally, I find that a Charge is reasonably comfortable for EDC, with or without a folder.  Some people carry a lot more on their EDC though, and a charge can be pushing the limit.  I've heard a lot of people do well with a Juice or a Skeletool for EDC.

I carry a wave or a charge in my back right pocket next to my wallet. I don't really feel it and I wear slim jeans too.
Why stop now?

I've been carrying my Charge most days since I got it. It goes OK in my left pocket (with keys and torch) in my jeans and work slacks.

Its a bit bulky in dress pants, so if I'm out for dinner or whatnot I go back to my Skeletool.

In that case, count me in  :ahhh

I've bought my Charge TTi yesterday. The knife grinds are awfull (uneven and terrible burr), the pliers and file are scratching the scales but I don't care really, it's a tool not a safe queen  :D

I love it and it will be my EDC for now on. I've already decided to sell my Skeletool Cx and switch it to Wave all black instead to match my Charge

Gentlemen, I'm officially hooked.

Why sell the Skeletool to get a Wave which functionally does the exact same thing as the Charge?  ???

With the Skeletool you have the lightweight option. If your tools are things for the shelf then I understand, but for practical use it makes zero sense to have a Charge and ...another Charge.
You get far more versatility with the Charge/Skeletool combo.

What does making sense about your tool use or accumulations have to do with any thing. After all this is MT.O    :D    :D

:D  :D  :D Well, I try the best I can to cling to the sane side of things. However, you've clearly got a point there.

Ive got an SLV and recently a TTi  :D
Im honestly worried about messing up the edge on the tti trying to sharpen it myself though, ive got a sharpmaker and want to sharpen it to 30 degrees inclusive, will i need to take off a lot of metal to do this?? Advice from fellow Chargers would be great  :salute:

On three. 1, 2, 3, CHARGE...

I am the proud owner of 3 of these to include the Ti, ALX and TTi. I remember posting on a Charge thread a while back but me thinks it was 'Chargeaholics'. So the 'Charge Owners' gave me the excuse to take some pics.

Problem, anyone who owns a Charge knows how badly behaved they are. So while trying to get them in a nice pic they were causing havoc  >:D. I even heard the words 'get in ma belly' from Mr ALX. Mini Grip's taste yummy he says .

The father and son Wave's didn't stand a chance, poor stainless tools  :(.

I've been carrying a Charge AL every day for a while.  Still my favorite multi for EDC and EDU :P
