2010 Multitool.org Multitool Of The Year
on: December 24, 2010, 11:23:31 PM
Ladies and Gentlemen,

With only one week left to go in 2010, it's about time we crowned our 2010 Multitool.org Multitool Of the Year.  Your voting criteria is completely up to you- which tool do you feel deserves to be crowned as the Best multitool of 2010?

Poll will be open for 7 days, and only 1 vote per member.  I will announce the winner on New Year's Day, should any of you be sober or conscious enough to celebrate!

A good list of tools this year, but the one I spent my money on was the PS4. :)

The PS4 got my vote. Pliers and scissors were something many people wanted in a key chain tool and I think it met expectations as far quality is concerned.

I voted for Leatherman Style CS. It's the only multitool I got for 2010 and I' very happy with it. My friends envy it and they said it looks "futuristic". It was given to me by Sawman.

I have to go with the Gerber Shard  :tu:

It is the only tool on that list that I owe, use and carry on my keyring on a daily basis.

Very small and very handy. ;)

What about the Multitasker Series 2 ?

I left it out for a few reasons, mostly because it's more of an update to an existing model, not really a new model.

Great list, but no Victorinox??  ??? ???

My vote goes to LM PS4....

All knives this year, no multitools.

I really like my Shard and my Style and Style CS, but for an EDC tool I really like the Octane. One vote for Gerber here.

PS4 for me too  :tu:

It's the only one I own on that list but also if given the option of any of them I think the PS4 is the best all rounder. That includes usability, price, etc.

Perhaps if I had a MUT I would think different but there are so expensive even at US prices  :o The PS4 is at a price point most people can afford with all the essentials  :tu:

I voted mut but the ps4 and style cs are good choices.
Multitasker would probably get my vote. I don't own one but they look cool. I am sure the edc model will win

The Alinghi and arguably the new squirts can be called updates to an existing model as well. The Multitasker 2 along with Ultralight and Tube (the last two being new models) should be on the list.
