The Sidekick sounds like a beefier tool while the Wingman more minimalist  ;) :D

http://www.trademarkia.com/wingman-85187639.html
http://www.trademarkia.com/sidekick-85109817.html

Either way I look forward to owning them  :tu:

The Sidekick appears to be based on the Skeletool platform:

"Multi-function hand tools comprised of two or more of the following tool elements -- screwdriver, scissors, pliers, wire cutter, wood saw, package opener, serrated utility blade, bottle and can opener, file, ruler, wire stripper, carabiner, cap lifter, knife blade, and nylon and leather sheaths therefor"

Could the Wingman is based on the Freestyle ?

Very much doubt it.  The Skeletool/Freestyle platform doesn't really have enough straight edge handle space for a printed or engraved ruler.

I hope the Wingman is a TSA approved tool and the Sidekick is a lighter MUT with a T-shank adapter or a Skeletool with scissors.

The Sidekick description talks about a "serrated utility blade"
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I don't know what they will be yet, but I want them both!

Hopefully the Sidekick will be built on the MUT platform with the gun tools replaced for more common stuff.

I'm pretty excited about this.  Do we have any idea if these are the only new tools or when they'll be available?
Treat your tools like a friend--keep 'em by you.  Never let 'em down, and they're always at your side.

I would't be suprised if Grant gets them on here first . After all it was him that broke the news of the Sidekick and Wingman .
