I never set out to nab a 2009 Stars & Stripes Micra BUT I am a sucker for combined postage

.
$10 latter I had a almost new Stars & Stripes 2009 Micra

, + 1 or 2 other items

.

Quite the handsome devil & the only difference I could see is the handle faces are bare no Leatherman etching/engraving , smooth.

On the flip side the 2009 Special is a bit ......... special

. It has no handle cut out for the tweezers

. I suspect LM opted to not have the cut out for aesthetic reasons

.Tweezers access is minimally effected , hardly in fact .

Now should I send it back too LM as it is NOT a 2009 Micra its a 2008

.

Mat just went and looked at mine and its 0908 both handles. Now you`ve done it. Leatherman will be flooded with emails questions on how this could happen. 08 handles on a 2009 special edition.
