Another story I just came across mentioned a doctor using a SAK for similar purposes. :/

Yeah, I was wondering on the model as well. That pretty much deserves a mention on the leatherman website.

Some people call any MT for Leatherman, but kudos to LM if it actually was one of theirs.. :tu: (Hopefully not a Micra.)

Yikes!  :ahhh A bilateral amputation. That is terrible! Going to be tough rehab.

Where were all the SAK users when they called out for a knife?

Allan have you been inside my head  :ahhh  lol    I was going to post about people calling all vacuum cleaners a Hoover so in theory it could have been anything unless theres any backup to the claim .  I was also going to make a comment about the Micra , do you think a Style CS would have performed any better  :think:

All joking aside I was reading some news reports today and I can't start to imagine how bad it was there . Hats off to the Rescue workers , from what I heard it was REALLY bad  :cry:  My thoughts are with those and the families of all involved .

Wow, that was incredible.  Glad to hear that people are prepared in those situations to do what's needed.  It also goes to show that we should all(as a society) carry a knife at all times!
