Get it Modeler? Hehe. I slay myself. ;)

Anyway, I have been planning on trying my hand at modding for some time now, just hadn't had the proper motivation until now. I have been looking for a Modeler for a while and thought I found one on Ebay, but when it arrived it turned out to be a standard Champion. Well, I really wanted a Modeler and I had this Champion... I had a completely torn down Explorer (totally fubared when I got it so I tore it down, ground off the Al corrosion, and set it aside for, well, now), and also a Climber with a hook that was also totaled (part of a "lot" I got off Ebay a while back).

So, one thing led to another and after some cursing and blood flowing I ended up with my own Modeler. :)

Thanks to the Modders here for the inspiration (Especially Gareth for the "How To") and Rotokid for making the supplies available in one place.

-Al-

PS: I may put the Champion back together as either an Outdoorsman or a Woodsman mod. It's in good shape (top right in the pic) so I may as well hone my skills. :) That is, unless anyone has a metal file layer set they want to part with so I can make another Modeler. ;)

Looks fantastic mate.  Good model of SAK and, as Allan say, the white scales work extremely well. :tu:
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Now that's some good stuff right there! I wonder if it's because people tend to look for nail nicks and the fish scaler and saw don't have them so maybe they get overlooked by the average Ebay seller?  ???  Goo Theory, anyway.
