Nice pics!   I still need to pick up a few SRM knives and this is definitely one of them.

You do.  Pay a couple extra bucks (like... $2, maybe?) and get them from EDCDepot.  From what I've seen the Chinese sellers still haven't dug themselves out of the Spring Festival backlog yet.

Ohhh, that's not good... I just ordered a flashlight from DX last week.  After a week, they just started packaging it today (and they have been known to get stuck on the packaging stage for a few days before they ship).  I hope they ship it within the next day or two. :mail:

Nice pics, Ed! CrMoV steel?

There's a laser itched mark "710" on one side of the blade. I beleive it is SS 710, Gene.

Hi Ed!

Steel is 8Cr13MoV (very nice steel in my opinion), the model is the 710  :tu: It's a very nice looking knife, hope you enjoy it!

I don't know if I like the term Poor Man's Sebenza, I kinda prefer Non-Insane Man's Sebenza.

As in your SO will never see it and go "You paid how much for that?  Are you insane?"

I own that exact same knife through this site and love it.  Its a small, lightweight powerhouse with a wicked edge and is well made!

You won't be disappointed. It's a great little knife. Here are all the variations of this cheap work horse.

The cheapest you can find them is 7,89 shipped at http://www.focalprice.com/detail_HT503S.html but they have terribly slow shipping. Another option is http://www.exduct.com/wholesale-knife/sanrenmu-srm-folding-knife-knives.html They have the largest selection of SRM/BEE/LAND knives but they charge extra for shipping.

My collection so far is 605, 707, 710 and a BNIB discontinued 718 Sharpdogs was kind enough to sell me out of his personal collection. Great guy, has gotten a lot of my money too. :D But unfortunately he doesn't carry the 710 at the moment.

How is the pivot constructed on these?  Is there a bushing?  Teflon washers?

its a odd one terry as brass on the frame lock side and teflon on the other  works a treat though  :tu:

you can see in this pic terry
