I have a red one like this. It happens to have a Soldier blade too.
I had forgotten that mine has the old silver cross scales. None of those had the engraving area, so it's not the rarity yours is.
It's easier to find the old models without a keyring. I hope we see them offer more new models with out the keyring, but especially without the engraving panel!

Glad I did not pay anywhere near that price. I don't think it's that old as it has the new logo on the scales.
Looks to me to be from the 2011 run, since it has no panel on bottom.
