Pet Ramp- Anyone use one?
« on: March 21, 2011, 07:57:02 PM »
I know many of you have trucks, and many of you have dogs, and I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience with pet ramps.  I'm looking at one on sale at Costco this week:

All the reviews look good, and the fact that it's polyurethane and fiberglass rather than metal makes me like it that much more.  I currently have two dogs, an old 80pound Siberian Husky who is my main motivation for something like this, and a 3 year old, 120 pound German Shepard/Rottweiller cross who also has trouble jumping into the Jeep.  They also have some issues jumping into the new VW, and both tend to "climb" in which is scratching the crap out of my brand new bumper.  And, given the wife's difficulty in lifting such large dogs, it seems like it would be a huge benefit all the way around.

Still, I thought I'd see if anyone else here had any experience, thoughts or suggestions before I went for it.
