Rahmed: Is it only in 93mm Alox you can put the opener opposite the inline phillips?

Yes, unfortunately... you'd need special custom spring for the same solution in 91mm...

Oh well :(
I'd love to have something more useful to me there than a magnifying glass or a mini LED light.

Thanks for the help  :tu:

Do the Syph- both openers opposite the inline.  Saves a whole layer!

I have done that with the philips/mag spring of an old explorer and the philips of a new explorer.
Then you just have to add a spacer to the left and right of the opener.

And if you want both openers vs philips, you have to take a new-explorer-philips, openers, two opener springs, spacers and a dremel, put them in a box, shake and there you have it :-)

I was able to do that with no changes to the springs, only to the philips and can opener.

hmm, that sounds like it has potential.

I was hoping it might be possible to just. buy an Explorer to hack.

Thanks all, I should let you get back to admiring the creatings from earlier.

Project Wenger Professional Soldat is successfully completed 8)
It was necessary to modify the shape of springs and liners, I used two 3mm rivets and 4 mm hollow rivet ... finally chose silver/red bicolor version in Swiss colors

Just looking through some of my bookmarks, found this thread and thought it deserved a little bump.  Anyone know if Rahmed is still modding?  Some astounding stuff on here, very inspirational.

Hey Rahmed- where were you getting all those 91mm combo tools from? Did you really buy a whole Vic Compact and cannibalize it each time?
