Sheath for Victorinox Huntsman (Heavy Pics!)
« on: April 26, 2011, 05:04:09 PM »
I found an old leather bag and decided to transform it to some sheaths for my folding knives. So far I never did something like this.
The first try goes to Vics Huntsman, next will be for Soldier and the final one, when I get enough skills to make it perfect, will be for Buck 112.
I used basic tools - awl, pliers, needle, some silk thread, and the Huntsman itself.
It took me more than 6 hours to complete.
So, here is the result:

You might not be giving the professionals a run for there money, but I'd be very happy to have made something that good.  Especially like the Vic shield. :tu:

That is a beautiful sheath for your Huntsman, and this was your first try? Amazing work. I really like the Victorinox log you put on there as well. Top quality work.

Thanks for the good comments, friends! Yes, this was my first try. I did a liitle correction - removed the outer stich and made another inner. The sheath become a liitle slimer and a bit tighter.
My next will be for a CT34 and there will be a new thread about it.
