I do like the look of brass pins with contrasting handles/scales  8) 8).
As to whether or not it is a soldier or a gardener , I am no help  ::) :D :D :D

Someone once told me that clip point blades like that were mostly made for sale in America...? Don't know if that is truly the case though :-\
