So, the bracelet already made it here.
Not sure it's flamboyant enough to warrant a proper review:
Paracord itself: well made, colour nice, even though not as bright - Pass
Whistle: works, even at the hand.. give a nice steady clear sound, unfortunately when you want to blow hard, it fizzles (you pervs) - Pass
Flint and rod: had some trounble scraping off the paint due to the awkward positioning, but after a ffew tries I could get sparks steadily. Also the ferro rod seems quite sturdy - Pass
Ergonomics: easy to tie and untie one-hand, it doesn't bother or scratvh, even the scraper very rarely catches hair

Conclusion:
Am I sorry for buying it? NO. Nice set, everything is functional and looks nice... I'll take it hiking in our mountain-filled mountains. Maybe I should have gotten the black one as the orange gets dirty very easily.
Will I get another one? HELL NO! Why not, you ask? It has a major flaw for me.. the whole buckle is just too big - 6 cm out of the bracelet's entire 25 cm is the buckle.  :o
Seriously, it's not a bracelet with buckle, it's a buckle with bracelet. As suck, it's just unconfortable to wear and a bit lame...

My first ever maxpedition organizer.

Tie rod assemblies for my truck. 180 bucks for tie rods that still aren't larger than the ones on honda civics is ridiculous.

I've got a few OG Supertool  leather sheaths on the way from e-bay. Two look to be in good shape the other well we'll see. I got a great deal on them and they are hard to find so I couldn't pass them up..

The 550HG is the full sized one, the 555HG is the mini. I have the mini with thumb-stud and would like to get the 555HG.

Just won a used Blue Juice CS4 on Ebay...so that is in route.

Also, sent my blast with broken screwdrivers off to leatherman yesterday so I am guessing ill get that back in the next week or 2, or they will replace it with the rebar (here is hoping as I want the replaceable cutters)

I'm sure a lot of folks laughed at your kick scooter story.

I had a Razor one, with the tiny wheels, and kind of discounted them after that. I could be going downhill, and would still never go faster than about 5-7 mph, due to wheel and pavement friction.

A guy with a broken leg brought a high-end one (like yours) to a boy scout outing of my son's, and we scout parents were all waiting for our turn to ride it. The boys were distracted from their paper airplane and egg drop projects, wanting to ride it too. Those smooth-rolling ones with the big wheels are awesome.

Along that same line of thought, I finally picked up a long board a few weeks ago. I got all kinds of flak from my wife, telling me I act like a child. When I was a kid, I skated, but was not into all the bone-breaking stunts. I just wanted some transportation that was faster than walking and less-maintenance than cycling. Now, they have these high-end sealed ball bearings and bigger wheels, it's a lot more practical.

Lastly, you get a big thumbs-up from Ol' Smaug for not driving.  :tu:

...unless it's because you were  :drink: or something. People don't think of how hard that is to do until they need to buy toilet paper, paper towels, milk, and other bulky or heavy stuff.

Yes. At the end of the semester, you can trade in some of those textbooks to Amazon for credit to buy some new MTs :D

It's a great tool! Gave away a bunch as gifts but forgot to keep one for myself. Been kicking myself since. Then I found a vendor with a new one in stock on clearance, so I snapped it up.
