2-3 times? I usually give up after the mailman has left mail
As our postal delivery time differs from one day to the next and as I can't spend all day monitoring the arrival or otherwise of our postman I check the post box as & when it's convenient, hence 2 or 3 times a day.

So if I check at 10am and the post box is empty, unless the lane I live on is covered in red elastic bands, I have no way of knowing if the postman has indeed been but not left anything for me so I will check again later in the day.

It's not that I live in a big house it's just a bit off the beaten track and I can't actually see my post box from the computer.

At least in your case it will stop SWMBO from intercepting those secret deliveries

Well this morning as I had already said I was waiting by the door for the postman to deliver my new toys and along he came and rang on the doorbell. I could see through the window that he had a parcel so I got all excited, opened the door and it was something for the wife!

It wasn't even anything good.

So, same again tomorrow morning....................

I had a new G-Shock & a mini prybar arrive this weekend, I'm waiting on a few spy capsule lighters (should be here tomorrow

), and I keep looking at Swisstools on t'interweb so I'll probably crack soon enough & order one. This man-flu is costing me a fortune!

Right, this morning I was actually upstairs when the post was delivered and I heard quite a big thump when the post hit the floor. I thought I had definitely got something this time. AND I HAD!!!!...................................................... a 2008 diary.
