Now thats a job well done perverting that poor old lady  It seems really smooth despite the power.

Yes believe me i know that such work requires a lot of testing, tinkering and endless assembling and disasembling.  :tu:

Application for membership. Here is a pic of my MUT. Never carried, just sits around looking tough.

Just checking in to apply for membership.

I just ordered a MUT BO, it'll be a week or so before it arrives.
It's an itch I've been wanting to scratch since they were launched.

The MUT really is an awesome MT.  Even more so when you add a few simple mods to it! :tu:

Adding Vic card scissors and tweezers.  The scissors need no mod, just go in where one of the long bits are stored, and the tweezers need a little work to be done to fit, but it's not too difficult.

I modded the file and saw of the Surge to set in the bit driver earlier in this thread. I tried the saw first to see if it would work.

Is there a chance that any tool, blade or scissor from any another Leatherman fit in the place where the Bronze carbon scraper sits?? This Bronze scraper (is it really Bronze not Brass??) is the only thing I really don`t need on my MUT.

Oh I forgot something :).......did any of you use a other sheath/pouch for the MUT? I really don`t like the bulky molle sheath and looking for a small and flat alternative.

Teletin,  I don't have one yet, but I strongly recommend a Skinth, I think it's the OG model.

I have a Skinth for my Charge TTi, which I bought after my old TTi fell out of the Leatherman pouch and got lost.
The Skinth is brilliant!  You won't regret buying one, I promise!

I'm very tempted to get a Mut. I'd have one but I the stupid carbon scraper is worthless to me. The punch I could mod into something .

my skeletool really wants a big brother.

My first try with DLC......a coated MUT Titanclip :)

In the next weeks I will do some more coating on the MUT and I have a idea about the replacing of the bronze scrapper :)

My plan for the scraper?......very simple, I`m gonna make me a little prybar out of the wrench that comes with the MUT. This wrench is great for this job, it has the right thickness and its hard enough for a small prybar.
But it will take some time because I need the help of a friend who is a locksmith but he is very busy at the moment :(  And after this I will do some coating with DLC and some Ceracote on the plastic parts in Armor Black, that will be a really dark MUT when its done :)

it's a tough multitool and the best one i found from leatherman but i return to my swisstool.

it has been a blast!

I can't see a comparison between the MUT and Swisstool, they are both built for different roles, MUT is a firearm specific tool meant for the range/hunting bag or any situation similar with just added bonus for EDC if you need to have it with you on a daily basis and the Swisstool is a work horse.  I think a fair comparison to the Swisstool be a ST300 or Surge IMO.

Here is my beautiful MUT so I can join this club too.  :salute:
