Backpack addiction , anyone ,
« on: August 17, 2011, 03:37:05 PM »
I use a backpack pretty much everyday for a long time, i generally dont throw them away unless hanging apart, recently i got a nice 30ltr karrimor but although it was perfect for day walks and i have a larger 60ltr for longer walks i found it too large for day rides on my MTB, the one i use on my MTB replaced my old camalbak that was very tired, but like my camalbak my new gelert is too small for commuting to work so i needed a imbeteen backpack  :D so today i picked up another karrimor a urban 30,  it was perfect for what i needed other than lack of bladder hole etc but im going to possibly mod it at a later date, i can always carry a bottle and stop now and then  ;) in this pic isnt my other older backpacks that live in the back of my cuboard , does anyone else have a love for backpacks

Yes, I too have this nylon problem. Last one I bought and am currently using is a Deutera Speedlite 20.

I wanted to go lightweight/non tactical... quite like it so far :)

I too have this addiction, but with a twist. Mine are backpacks that need to accomodate a 15.6" laptop. I eventually settled on the Targus Citygear laptop bag:

That was until I was enticed into getting a Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger. I've been using that for a few weeks, and so far I'm not that impressed. I may go back to the Targus one.
