I have a few hours of the Soviet military. During the period of 1970-1980. Ugly but reliable. 200 meters under water.

Actually made by a French company, 20 years ago and absolute rubbish.

Supposedly based on what the USSR special forces were wearing

The Soviet military hours only mechanics. Quartz is not suitable, and suddenly a nuclear explosion? And the end of the electronic clock.

Maybe it was a special top secret Quartz mechanism!

I had it repaired twice, 20 years ago, and it still did not work

Rubbish?  Really?  I gave my wife one of those Gruen CCP watches and it's the only one she's never been able to break.  This includes some really, really, REALLY expensive watches.  Like Daniel Mink.  And Sarelle.  And a British-issue CWC.

Well, if you want to buy another one (non working) let me know.  ;)

It stopped working one week after I got it, had it repaired, then broke again, run the batteries flat in a week... Bought brand new from an airport shop.

Seiko 5. Great watch. Inexpensive, and does the job.
