I found an interesting tool on eBay and got the bank breaking price of $14, I decided to get 2. The silverline seems to be part of a series of copies as I did find a Counterfeit Crunch for about the same price. Shipped from The UK, I imagine that silverline is something like a budget tool company importing from China.

On to the pics

The SLFF (silverline faux flair), comes in this years fashionable clamshell packaging with and impressive breaking strength of over 1000 lbs of force. ironically the knife from my own Panache made short work of it.

The SLFF bares a very familiar form factor, borrowing it's main design from the PST and the Flair. Most of the similarities end there.

The cork screw, a signature of the Flair is present on the SLFF, but is of a plain stainless steel construction and finish. The corkscrew also lacks a back spring so it doesn't snap in place nor is held in the tool. Friction alone does.

The plier head is of the same design as the PST however is spring loaded. It makes a "plong plong" sound when it's used.

In place of the cocktail fork ( also a signature of the Flair) is missing. In it's place is a pretty good 1/4 driver bit. I imagine one could make a fork for the adaptor :)

The tool can be closed with the bit in.

The otherside has more standard tools, a knife, two flat bit drivers and a combo can/bottle opener.

The provided pouch isn't crap, but it doesn't inspire confidence. Inside is two pouches.

So if you are looking for a cheap flair, this is your tool.

Like Chako said "you'll never mistake it for the real thing, however, it isn't junk either". I think I may get the Crunch after seeing the quality of this tool.
