Shaved in the hospital, well more like a trim, freaking hair was bothering me, kept curling into the lips, so I had to break out the sak and do a little trim work..
JR

Well, at least you were already in the hospital.

I want to shave my head but I'm afraid of what lies underneath

With the amount of damage my dome has take over the years I wonder how many more scars I have

As far as face shaving, I've been keeping it close but I don't see myself being clean shaven anytime soon.

I did that on Saturday. I'd grown it out when I was having job worries with the mill I worked at closing. I thought it would look better in interviews should I need to have one. So now I've signed my contract, it's back to business as usual  :D

I'm getting lots of abuse at work this morning. They've never seen me with my head shaved. I've had a few smurfing hell what happened to your hair comments

As for the shaving part, my dome needs one soon, face... not so much, just getting rid of the sides and trimming the goatee

Sorry for the crappy pic, today I finally buzzed the sides off.. at first I only trimmed and tightened the sides but it really didn't look like I did anything, and just said ah, this is the longest I've ever had it so I just buzzed it off. Is it me or do I look thinner? The top is also the longest it's been in over 17yrs, I can pinch and pull it, I don't like it! Cause if I can that means the wife can!

I've been waiting months for this! And to imagine this new scuttle/mug only cost me $3 anyone care to guess what it is and why I had to wait?? Only sucks cause I won't be shaving in winter, so I have to wait even longer to use it..

no it's not custom, that's not why I've been waiting, it was a candle! I've been waiting for the wax to melt, but I've finally used it all up letting it make the room smell good, so I cleaned it up and put it with the other shaving toys, as you can see the other mug got chipped, and it was also too big, but this looks to be just right! Now I just have to wait!

I think it looks good, let me know what you think..

We were watching some family videos from as far back as "99" and the Mrs was like wow look how young you look! I loved the short face hair back then, so today for giggles I buzzed the sides and only put the trimmer on and did the goat, I wasn't going to shave the sides slick in this freaking weather! I must say I got to see those cute dimples on the wife's face that I haven't seen in a while, but this isn't going to stay trimmed, maybe in summer but not now!

Ohhh, it feels so great yet it's freaking burning! I haven't razor shaved since April 24th of last year, I could so go for a head shave too, but it's going to take a little to get back into the swing of things rather then just buzzing.. just knowing my luck now it will drop into the 30's

Ok I need a new beard trimmer, I've had this same $5 AA battery eating one for over 12yrs  don't get me wrong it's been a good little trimmer, it will trim very close and also adjust and leave like 3/4". I'm just tired of having to replace the battery's so often, that and having two great trims then hearing the motor slow down because of the battery's, I think it's time, any suggestions? Looking for:
Rechargeable or corded,
Simple adjustability, not something with a bunch of combs,
And that's pretty much it, oh, and nothing huge or expensive?

Got inspired by another Lowe's trip. The mini table leg was $1.50.

Used my previously retired van der hagen boar brush. It's a cheap brush that I wouldn't have ever cried if I ruined it.

Used super glue (CA) to line the hole to help keep it waterproof. Then used dark walnut colored Danish oil to finish.

Used 2-part epoxy to set the knot.
