Now this is freakin' sweet!
« on: October 08, 2011, 04:48:10 AM »
Always liked the bigger Jumbo Trapper patterns, and since Case released the Tony Bose Backpocket as a production pattern I've really gotten hooked on it. Seen this one today Case recently released in the Backpocket line and I have not stopped ......

Dark Antique Bone Raindrop Damascus Backpocket:

A bit pricey but I am so tempted!  :sa:

The blade looks very interesting 2xtap. I hope you get it in the end.

I have some RR (OK) and some pakistany damascus knives but this looks, naturally, way better. Problem is it is quite hard to buy the case for the money it will cost, knowing that you will never really use it and without, in my case  ;) , being able to inspect it before buying.

Hey, 2XTap, haven't seen you around much lately.  Glad to see you're posting these lovely knives again. :tu:

Checkout the "Show your Slipjoints thread", the last couple pages. In the past few weeks I picked up a bunch of new slippies and posted a slew of eye-candy over there.

Yes I do, but I am stretched a bit thin at the moment. And these are going for around $140 a pop. Will probably end up with one but I don't know if I could pull it off this week. The temptation is really tugging at me though.

That is sweet, if I had one I'd even EDC it even though I'm not a traditional slippy guy.

On the same note, when you put Case and damascus in the same sentence I don't even want to know how much that thing costs!  :ahhh
