Well, it functions as a bottle opener, but not well. The cap lifted off cleanly, but it took a lot more effort than it should have.The leverage point of the tool is on the opposite side of the cap rather than in the center of the cap where it should be. It's something that could easily be fixed by grinding away some of the prybar side, but frankly I am disappointed in it's unnecessary complication of a relatively simple task.
