That´s right. Never ... ever ...  8)
Me neither, its what the clocks on every church tower etc are for. Well, not never, ever for me but less than 10 times a year.

It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

A large part of me wearing it is because I love the watch, more so than that I need it.
I'm a total legend..... in my own mind- Herley

I own this very model myself. I do wear it on a black leather strap as my "Dress Watch" whenever a G-Shock would be innapropriate.

"Off work / formal EDC" from a while back - I don´t own the Skeletool anymore. Mostly do carry my ribbed cadet on formal occasions.

It's tough but smart isn't it?

Mine only looks smart if you squint though, it's a bit battered and scratched but I don't mind.

OK. While not the nicest or best out there. But I am wearing a Armitron. I got it just to see if wearing a wrist watch would drive me nuts or not and if I can get used to it.

If I am able to wear it for a while with no problems I will get me a sweet one. If not, I will have to find another pocket watch.

ARMITRON!
Best name ever for a watch. Does it transform?
Let us know how you get on with it. I hope it's not a decepticon because it may well do more than drive you nuts - it might try to kill you.....

Lol! It does not transform, but it does a lot of beeping.
We will see how I get along with it. I just noticed that it is water resistance of 330 feet. Which is 324 feet more than I need. Anything past 6 feet and I am smurfed. I swim like a rock. Straight to the bottom. Lol!

Unless your watch is a decepticon in which case it would laugh as your lungs filled with water......bubbles of laughter from its conning tower. Then the tell tale humming of an incoming torpedo.... Will you drown before you get blown up? Tune in next week.

If you sink straight to the bottom then you really need the waterproofness. Duh.

Lovely watch.  I had one of those for 10 years until last November when I whacked it on a slide in the park and shattered the glass. :(

Replaced it with this Seiko

(which I am wearing today :) )

V nice Seiko! What does the button do?

As an aside, I see it took you just 3 minutes to take that picture and upload it. Sweet.

I might have taken it last May. ;)

The button is to check the charge on the battery - press it and the second hand sweeps round to indicate how much power is left.

Citizen Eco-Drive. Nothing fancy, just reliable, idiot proof, easy to read, and decent looking.

That is a very cool function. How many times did you press when you first got it?

I'm glad to hear you had your Ecodrive for 10 years - I'm on year 8 now and I'm wondering how long the solar battery lasts. Did yours keep going until you broke it?

Quite a lot.   :-[

It took a day or two wearing it to charge initially, but I've been wearing it every day since then and now it stays full.

Yes, had no problems at all with it.  Changed the strap for a NATO one when the original wore out after a few years and that was it.  Kept good time and never had to change the battery.  Absolutely brilliant, considering I paid £40 for it from Argos. :tu:
