Won this watch in a silent auction yesterday for a fifth of what it's worth new, really proud of it!

Right you are! Beautiful watch!  :tu:

The only thing that could get me outta my G? The Apple Watch

Very cool! Congrats! How do you like it?

So far, I love it. Even if it is a miniaturized general purpose computer in a ridiculously expensive packaging. It does have a few quirks about it that will take some getting use to. What's not to like about any Apple product though? I know that some may not think so but I do  :D  :D  :D

Decided to let my wrist get some air today, and went for my fob watch that clips to a belt loop (the one on the right)

Hey, I like that!!!!!! :salute:

Cheers buddy. :)  Kind of a G-Shock Light IMO.  Not the same functions as a G-Shock, but similar feel and a fraction of the price.  Doubt it will stand up to the same abuse as a proper G-Shock either, but I'm not prone to breaking watches anyway.

That should seriously annoy you on a watch that cost that much.....

Maybe they just do not make them like they used to....

While this is a very nice, simplicistic designed watch, I really hope you can slap a new G-Shock around your wrist, soon!

I so love that watch, it is exactly what I want, I just wish it was a little more heavy duty and metal rather the plastic.
