Looks great, yet blurred, DKS - what is that beauty?
Still the Gemius Army?

Yes - I even got it wet a few times, washing knives, and it just keeps going on - if I break it I can probably sell the strap for more than I paid for the watch  :D :D

I took the picture quickly with the phone, so it just focused on the boats

After a month I decided to wear something other than the Gemius (best value for money ever), regularly.
Back to the Jaragar (women love it)

Nice!

Our old buddy Dingosrun is trying to convince me that I need a Suunto Traverse.  I don't take a lot of convincing really, as I think it's a neat watch, but I don't know how to justify a new watch that probably costs more than all of my current watches combined!   :ahhh

Thanks!
The Garmin is a bit pricy, but it also has a lot of features. It can be both analog and digital, new watchfaces can be downloaded. It has a accurate compass, altimiter, barometer, GPS/Glonass and programs for recording all kinds of activities and give you detailed feedback with graphs and everyting. (I mean, who doesnt want to know how many crawl, breast and back strokes you have taken while swimming? :D )
Pluss, its a smart watch wich can connect ro both Iphones and Androids, and only needs recharging once a week with normal use.
Also it measures how many steps I have taken, how many floors I have climbed the stairs and gives me kick in the but when I need to get off my butt and move around. It even gives me a nice kick in the nuts on sundays by reminding me that Sundays are my most inactive days and asks me what intend to do to fix that! But hey! It gives me fireworks when I reach a daily goal and awards when I pass certain milestones. :D

If you are going to get a Suunto, get a D4i.

They are only 100m water resistant, so only suitable for handwashing , according to most internet experts (you need at least 300m WR to bathe), but it looks good and gadgetty..

Casio MRW-200H for me today.

IIRC it was Grathr that put me on to this one.  Very serviceable watch without spending G-Shock money.

You are right about the watch although you can find nice used G-Shocks for the MSRP of a MRW 200.
Need to dig mine out.

The first one I bought was "borrowed" by my Dad for a long term test. This means I may get it back once the battery runs out. Then he will either ask me to replace the battery or "borrow" another watch while I keep "his" MRW to change the battery.

I have my Böker apart atm to fit a Vic can opener instead of the 45 degree finger cutter.

During the day, a Jaragar.

In the evening the "Rolex"  - works well, so far.
I would not wear it in public, as I do meet several people with the genuine article..

Didn't wear it today, but experimented with my light tent (I'm an amateur) and my Vic Infantry:

BTW: Anyone interested into getting into a Vic automatic, Amazon has some of these for $219 today. Just posted about it in the deals and auctions forum.

My Vic is becoming a diva... once you don't wear your automatic for a some time you regret and reset...
So you wear them all the time.

Usually I get a new watch every 15 years ( and still keep and wear the old ones), but I hope, my Infantry vintage will last very, very long.
