Ok, lets see your Altoids! (inside)
« on: November 15, 2011, 01:27:32 PM »
As a EDC what do you use your can for?? So lets see them!

I put dividers in mine then glued them in, on top of that i lined the inside with truck bed liner, so the dividers DON'T MOVE! this way i could carry my gum, Altoids, and fishermans friend with out getting mixed up. the only thing i should do is find some plastic to cover the lining, cause someone told me the tablets will absorb chemicals from everything, i have paper in there now(not in the pic) kinda how the Altoids come.. JR

It is called a "High Tech Ranger Band" and it is made of silicon. I got it from here: http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/High_Tech_Ranger_Bands/p474753_3500942.aspx

Pretty neat, that would come in handy for other things too, as it showes. don't know where to find them over here.. definitely beats tying with paracord then having to retie it just for one little thing.. JR

I use one on mine (above) and think it's a great little item. I used a piece of bicycle inner tube on my previous two kits (survival and repair) but this silicone feller seems to be sized a lot better to me

Added spare batteries for my Photon Freedom Micro Light and a special plaster for crevices in the skin of fingers (caused by dryness and "hard" work).

Anyways, Altoid tins don´t seem to get much love here...  :D
