What Brand of Headphones Do You Use?
« on: November 24, 2011, 01:38:47 PM »
I'm currently using custom iPhone earphones on my daily travels to work, and at home, Urbanears. I just saw a Beats by Dr. Dre headphone, and its expensive! on the other hand, bootleg Beats are a lot cheaper and the sound it produces is somewhat ok.
So as the topic says, do you still use headphones or are we too old for these stuff? :D :D

I had dr dre beats tours the in ear ones, they sound good but only lasted a week and a half before one of the headphones started crackling. I took them back and now stick to cheap ones.

I don't use earphones but have a comfy set of old Sennheiser headphones that have lasted many years and sound great.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I use Creative hs-730i in-ear headphones. Really love them since they are OK priced and they do a good job blocking out outside noice so I don't need to cranck the volume up if there is a lot of noice round me.

Grado Labs has to be the best sound quality for the price, but the plugs can be a bit bulky if you're concerned with that.

Sennheiser PX 100-II and some skullcandy lowriders

I know people say skullcandies are flimsy but I'm pretty rough with mine and they've been ok. The sennheiser are my 2nd pair I was told they were pretty much bullet proof but I had a headphone go before the 3 month extended warranty ran out

I can't do the whole in ear thing they just either fall out or hurt

I use Bang and Olufsen ear phones.  I think they blow Sennheiser out of the water but not as well known.

I've had Skullcandies break on me twice, but they definitely look great, stylistically speaking.

Sennheiser ear buds.  I don't remember the model number.  I've been using them for over 2 years with no problems.

In order to get away from the cord, I am considering a LG HBS 700 Bluetooth Headset.

+1 for Sennheisers. I've used both in-ear and regular headphones and I'm quite happy with them.

Same here  :tu:

I tend to get about 18 months to 2 years from a set then I just buy them again :D I do use them at least daily. Used to be more before I got the iPod connection in my car  :)

I did try a Creative pair but missed the asymmetrical cable. Couldn't go without that feature now. Means I can pop them in and out without the cable falling to floor  :tu:

I use Sennheiser CX 200 and also a no brand in-ear phones. These last ones have really no visible brand on and they don't even identify left or right channel. They were "offered" to me and actually have a fairly good sound.

I use Bang and Olufsen ear phones.  I think they blow Sennheiser out of the water but not as well known.

Actually BO is well known here, and I guess in most of europe. That's a Danish company. They've gain the fame thru the years of repackaging other brands electronics (mostly from philips) in their fancy and elegant designs.
