Top Gear S10E04 Multi Tool
« on: November 28, 2011, 10:21:33 PM »
Hello everyone. I am a big Top Gear fan and am having a bit of a Top Gear-athon via the computer and some torrents. Here in the USA that is about the only way to see the show other than BBCA. Now this is a shot of James air-ing down a tire with a multi tool. I can not tell what it is however. Any ideas?

Looks like a Charge Ti, XTi or TTi I'd say.

+1 :tu:

ps. If you save the pic and open it with VuePrint, you can tinker with the contrast, rotate and make it a negative, you can just make out the raised lettering ridges on the handles near James's thumb :tu:

pps. Way to much spare time at the mo :P

The funny thing is that as much as they rant about us stupid Americans, it is funny that he would be using a Leatherman and not something from another part of the world. LOL just sayin' :)

I love Top Gear it is as of right now my favorite TV show. It is much better than the US version of the show. The three presenters just work great together.

I found the UK version of the show first and like it better than the US version of the show. Just so you can get an idea of it....here is a clip:

The funny thing is that the show I posted simply takes the sterotypes joked about on UK Top Gear and just plays on them so well....I mean redneck city. :) I love the Caddy jump.

If you can, check out the Australian Top Gear. It is much more relaxed/funny than the US version and in one episode , of the earlier seasons, they actually used a Wenger Giant Swiss Army knife to cut a tow strap.
