Pretty nice police car.  Is that an M series?

Thank you, it's not an M is a 530d which is pretty good as a patrol car.

We also have some Audis

And we had something to help with pursuits, but unfortunately it went wrong. (Not for me)

I love the color scheme of your police cars  :salute:.  Those Audis are pretty great looking as well.  Here in California I see mostly Fords Explorers and some Dodge Chargers and the car I think most know the Crown Vic.  I have heard of one city using Corvettes which would be a awesome police car.

Every time I go to the States I always check out the Police vehicles. Ive seen nice ones and some pretty standard stuff. Corvettes would be a great choice!!

My Buell XB9S. Pics taken the day I bought it home 12 years ago. My first bike was a dirt bike. With the dirt bike front look and handling I was instantly attracted.

I had to get these pics out of my backup drive. Bought back a lot of old memories looking at some of those pics.

Converted it to a touring bike because my wife would not let me get another bike. I had this already when I got married so I got to keep this  :ahhh

Pic 1 - Wheels taken off to put on touring tires.... notice the fake gas tank.
Pic 2 - My touring setup with saddle bags, highway pegs, glove compartment, windshield, GPS.
Pic 3 - On a steak stop on the roads in Canada.
Pic 4 - The longest bike trip I have done.... Toronto-Vancouver-Toronto  :P

I still drive my Hyundai Matrix (13 years) but my son got his driving license and he wants it. So it is time for a new car. My wife wants a SUV, my goverment wants all my money in taxes to pay debts, I want a cheap and roomy car, for the city, the highway and unpaved streets, with reasonable mechanics and all the basic equipment and out of the equation came Dacia Duster 1.2 TCe 4x2. I like my cars as I like my SAKs, utilitarian and capable and I believe this is the right thing. I had a Renault Clio for 12 years and this thing is based on the Clio (as is the Captur) so it looks familiar.
Has anybody used it? It was popular in Britain as a diesel. And in Romania I guess.

The Duster has been VERY popular over here.  I've not driven on myself, not even been in one, but a friend of mine loves her one.

Hello, this is my first post in the break room thread.

For daily activity I always pick my matic scooter. The traffic jam here always give me a headache.

Here it is...my Honda Vario.

But for the weekend, mostly Friday to Sunday, I drive my Daihatsu. Old car, slow but reliable. During this rainy season I feel safer with this Daihatsu 4x4.

During my previous job I also drive them in the middle of Borneo forest. Hahaha I even need a D7 dozer to pull me out. Miss those lovely days.

I agree- that looks like a great time.

I wish I lived in a place where I could ride a motorbike or scooter all year around but the snow, ice and freezing weather makes that seriously unsafe.

I drive a 1998 Volvo S70, I know some folks think these Volvo's are cars for senior people, but I like 'em

We also have a 1998 Volvo V70, which is very handy for carrying big stuff, or sleeping in ;)

Smart to be driving a Volvo. Volvo thinks they can eliminate all deaths in their cars by 2020  :drink:

At one time I was very keen on getting one of their Station Wagons like yours.

Lucky me, here we only have two seasons. Rainy season and dry season. The worst was the flood that often occurs during the peak of the rainy season, that's why I prefer a conventional diesel car.

I used to drive a Volvo too. Between 2008 to 2012 I have two of them, 1998 Volvo 940 2.3T and 1998 Volvo S90 3.0.

For me the Volvo have a strong point in comfort. I frequently driving for 12 to 14 hours (about 650 kms) to visits my grandma. And Volvo give me less fatigue.

Unfortunately their spare parts here were expensive and hard to find in a small town.

Traded off my truck in November for a 2015 Dodge Durango Rallye edition. There are days I miss my Hemi, but those days are quickly replaced with more days I don't have to stop at the gas station! 19 MPG around town vs. 11? I'll take it! Still getting used to the transmision - 8 speeds makes me feel like I'm driving a semi:)

We have a 2011 Kia Sportage and a couple days ago bought a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport.  We missed having a second vehicle, and wanted something cheap so as not to bring on another monthly payment.

I drive a Lexus IS 250 and I hate it. I was always an SUV guy. I have to drive 200 plus miles every other weekend to pick up my son from his mother, so my 15 mpg forerunner had to go.

I can deal with the car. My son moving so far away was a major life change for me. One of the reasons I disappeared from the forum for a time. My relationship with my boy is strong. If that were to ever change, I'd quit my job and move closer to him. Sorry for getting off topic everyone. My car does suck though. I'm getting ready to replace the spark plugs this weekend. Never done it before, could prove interesting.

Sorry my fault for going off topic buddy.
You'll be fine with the spark plug change , I'm no mechanic  but I managed just fine.
At the moment I'm driving an old fiesta that cost me £200 and I manage to keep that going.
A couple of weeks ago I was late finishing work on the farm and only had 10 minute to get to school to pick my son up, while rushing to take my work boot off I locked my car keys in the boot of the car so I had no other option than to smash the small rear side window. So I need to replace that when I have time, at the moment it's had the duct tape treatment.

I've had to do that before. I drove around with a garbage bag taped over the small window for about a month. Only thing that worries me about the plugs is I have to remove the intake manifold to get to 3 of them. Ill figure it out. Not exactly how I wanted to spend a day off, but the dealership wanted over $500 to do the job. I don't think so.

Indeed, they are very comfortable. The 900 series Volvo is my favorite sedan. But it's hard to find them in good condition, most owner here don't maintain them well and the tropical climate tends to destroy the interior (cracked leather seat, cracked dashboard).

$500 to change spark plug? That's expensive

First - a stock photo of something similar to my daily
Second - what our cops think they drive

third- what they actually drive (so pretty close really)
