Somewhere in that new logo should also be "Barely Functional Plastic Junk!".  Seriously, this stuff just looks like rebranded plastic key chains they sell at bins in hardware stores for a dollar.

I bought my dad one of their mini pliers tools a few years ago and it's served him well. My Utilikey (original version) is still going strong too and has been a great buy. Not too convinced about these latest offerings, although that micro-ratchet might be worth a closer look -even if it's just for use as additional hex bit storage with a back up light

I agree. Their latest gadgets are real junkers. Stick with their all metal mini pliers and you can't go wrong. Anything with plastic in it...stay well clear.

I actually stumbled upon this looking for one of their small pliers. Good to know that at least those are still going strong  :tu:

One gets the feeling that they are....reaching a bit.....in order to come up with new product ideas.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Why do they have to put a dinky LED in everything?

It's stupid cheap, they can tack on another $5 to the price and say it's another "Function"?

Most likely.  Personally can't stand 5mm LED's myself; but I'm an even bigger flashlight snob than MT junky...

A lot of their new stuff just resembles a lot of those OEM chinese multitools.

Why do they have to put a dinky LED in everything?

A small light can be handy sometimes. I don't mind having a small led on a keychain-like tool, as long as it's well done.

Okay, maybe we've been spoiled but Swiss-Tech's entire metal pliers lineup can be had for under $20 retail, and the only one I don't like out of those is the MicroMax 19-in-1.  The rest are really, really solid.
