I have a Vic Deluxe Tinker and a Wenger Tool Chest, but I haven't had much use out of the pliers. I'm finding pairing up a Squirt P4 or Mini Bear Jaws or 4" Vise Grips with a SAK to be very good. I'm looking forward to getting a Dime too and putting that through it's paces

 :b2t:

I got a couple of Vic Gardeners ages ago, but they've just sat lifeless in a drawer ... till this weekend. I've found a new successor for fruit eating tasks, which has relegated an Opinel #6 to the drawer for a while. They do make for a very nice fruit knife

Aside from that, the SAK's have taken a back seat for a bit since I got a quite old Sheffield made utility knife. It doesn't have scissors though, so the Wenger Pocket Tool CHest is on regular standby in left front pocket

I do need to buy a cigar though  I got a Wenger Deluxe Cigar Cutter from the Catman a while back, and it's just sat in it's velvet pouch doing nothing. I'm reasonably happy about that as it's for special occasions - but I think the main feature still needs testing  :D :D :D

I Want An SAK With Pliers So Bad.

I'm a big fan of the Vic pliers!  My favorites are the Deluxe Tinker, Mechanic and Craftsman which get rotated as my EDC.

Jeff
+1 on the Deluxe Tinker. I love all three of the Tinker family, but those little pliers have saved my butt many times. :tu:

nice.....
That’s why I bought a used, standard red scale model; so that I will not be worried about using it.

Personally I find the cigar cutter OK, but the cheap guillotine ones perform better.

I just wanted a SAK for formal occasions such as weddings etc. I've no need to carry it otherwise ... it's not like I'm short of alternatives ...

Very cool!  Did you do the mod yourself?
If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?
