As some of you probably know I dated Jeff for a while so I told him if I could be of any help to just let me know. 

If you follow his channel I'm the Ash he talked about for a while.

So does this mean we are ruling out the angry ex girlfriend as a suspect?

He had none of the videos saved. Youtube is being of no help from my understanding. He lost way over 1500 videos and 70,000 subs. His new whiskey channel was also hacked and all info lost. I wish Jeff the best. 

So after he filmed something, and uploaded it, he just deleted the raw footage?  Thats pretty crazy if he was making income from it.  First rule in the tech world is have backups and dont trust one copy.  Tough lesson to learn I agree though, but you usually only need to learn it once.  I've had similar problem, but not nearly to that scale.
