Charge SLV

Date Code 0607 / 0607

I LOVE the looks of the Sheath that came with this thing

the file is VERY aggressive,  much more so than my newer AL and TTi

If I can help, let me know

Original LM Super Tool from '98.

The ST300 is great but there's something special about  this one  :multi:

I agree.  I was surprised by how much I like my original Supertool ('97).  I just got it earlier this year, looking like it had never been used.  They're a tough, solid multitool :tu:

My latest is a LM OHT...ok, well it's not technically mine, but I have it on loan for a little while to test out.  Thanks to the generosity of one of the many enablers here of course ;)  Initial impressions are that I enjoy it.  It's rather bulky compared to my other MTs, but it's actually lighter than I expected.  I'll weigh it tomorrow at work, but it seems to be around the same weight as my ReCharge TTi, so that's doable for me.  I'll have to see how it carries in my back pocket with all my work pants.  I don't think it will carry in my jeans though, as those have smaller back pockets.

It's very smooth with the flicky plier action, and I love that it's got the sprung pliers.  I'm surprised by just how short the blades are, but they're sufficient for my typical use.  I think I'm going to want one, but I'll see how it goes over the next several days.

Well I got a new toy today.

I'm still undecided on whether to keep it or not. On one hand, if I ever work for some beigeist, easily offended hippies that can't tell the difference between a broad sword and a butter knife it'd be ideal... but that's not likely to happen.

So I'll think about it for a week or so, but I might be able to offer it to one of our UK members because of the sorry state of their knife laws. We'll see :) I'll open another thread if that's the case.

Just picked up a silver Leatherman Wave (new) with sheath on eBay for $56 and grabbed a pocket clip for it off of amazon. I think I found my new heavy duty MT! It will live in my pocket during projects and the weekend while residing in my truck the rest of the time! I'm real excited to put it to good use!

My latest Leatherman is the BO Surge. I already have a quite old stainless Surge, but I couldn't pass up the chance to get a brand new one with the replaceable wire cutters, newly designed saw/file holder and a black Mollie sheath. The price... Drum roll please... $60

For a new Surge that's a daylight robbery. Who/where was giving it away, if not a secret?

The store is NPS. It's a place where they sell stuff damaged/lost in shipping.

I've just acquired a brand new "sideclip" for nothing!
It was a bargain that just keeps giving, a great bit of luck. I was browsing a motorcycle forum I hardly ever look at and up popped a pair of nearly new motorcycle cases for silly money, £60. Bit the guys hand off after asking a few questions to make sure they were kosher, I knew him vaguely anyway. He even delivered them personally to my place!
They looked new, like they cost the guy £350 yesterday new. Opened them up and inside were the inner bags which are £40/50 each! BONUS! Ive been after some for my existing cases and these fit nicely so I've got free bags! Sold the cases for £180, ½rrp so passed a bargain on to another lucky guy.
This was a few months ago, I first came to use the bags last week and looked in the side pockets for the shoulder straps and found a new condition LM sideclip!
Got hold of the original seller and he's not interested! More money than brains or as I like to think, very generous. Owe him a beer.
I've used a mk1 Wave for years but its always put in luggage or the bike toolroll, I'm more likely to have the sideclip on me when I need it as its a legal carry here, the wave isnt
