Blue coloured Micra!

(Image removed from quote.)

I don't like the added thickness, it just spoils a perfectly slim and thin tool...

(Image removed from quote.)

Still  very nice tool though

Had a Sideclip and another Micra show up today.  They could both use a little TLC.

Did you get that off of eBay?  Looks familiar...

Thanks.  The Sideclip was a little rougher than I thought it was from the auction pictures, but it is all good.  Looks like an electrical arc burn on the plier head, and the wire cutters were used on something to hard for them so they are notched.  A few of the implements wouldn't budge either, and there appears to be some staining on the blade..  I cleaned up the wire cutters with a diamond file and applied some of my favorite gun oil to the implements and it's not that bad now.  Still happy with the purchase, although I'm left wondering if the PST plier head would be a direct swap with the Sideclip....

Also, I realized that I never shared when I got my Mini-tool.  Looks like it was carried a lot and used a little.  Most of the wear is on the sheath.

I took the picture the night I got it, but I guess I was too tired to upload it and link it.

My recent acquisitions:
- Charge TTi Seclusion 3D from recent Cabela's sale (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,67447.0.html). I thought of it for a few days, FOMO eventually got me, so I pulled the trigger. So glade I did as this one is sold out (discontinued?). Got the old-scale version to boost.  :D
- Charge ALX Stainless: bought used, turned out to be likely brand new
- Wave: another used purchase, which has no evidence of use
- Original Super Tool: new with sheath, in box
- Bit adapter kit: beat zrxoa1 in the auction  :D What actually caught my eyes was the tiny Philips screw driver in the kit

I am quite happy with this lot. Besides the "full" sale price of the Cabela's one, others were bought at great prices, which will likely retain, if not increase, their values, if I downsize in the future  :tu:

Thanks, bud!  One way to keep my MT madness in check is to buy tools as close to new and at lowest price as possible, just to avoid impulse purchases. The reasons I have not had a Flair in my collection yet.

Just grabbed two used Leatherman Micras from ebay.  Random selection from a large lot.  I got one dated to 2004, and the other 1997, both are dirty in the pivots, but blades and scissors are sharp, springs strong.  Tweezers in both needed a bit of tweaking.

I was tossing up between Juices, Squirts, or otherwise.. came across these and with shipping paid $14 for two.. so what the heck.  I'm really liking them a lot so far.  I also just ordered a replacement Sidekick to the one I lost.  I think I'll drop one of its tools in favor of the package opener from my Wingman.

I'll be shooting for a Rebar or Skeletool CX next.  A Wave would be super awesome too.

My new Wave (okay, its my third  >:D) arrived today. I traded my Charge tti for it.
Probably crazy but I just can't get along with the Charge and really prefer the wave.
No rubbing scales, no gut hook, just an elegant and extremely useful tool.
