Added a PD35 (2014 ver.) to my edc (i love this "artistic" photo :) )

(Image removed from quote.)

Also handmade a diffuser white and red (made with a red bottle cap for emergency) which fit perfectly

Hope you like the idea very very cheap ;)

I like the addition of the red cap. :)

Also made this for my PD22UE with some sandpaper ;)

I use it also like a battery case (2 x CR123) and it's waterproof, not bad!

Just added my first real flashlight purchase.

Nitecore EA41. I knew I wanted AA/AAA power, and something bright that I won't EDC.

It was (as usual) between the EA41 and the D40A.

I went with the EA41, better price, I like the look more, and the 2015 version is brighter.

I love it so far, the 2 button interface is a love at first use situation.

I'll write a review one of these days!!

I had to look up the EA41.  Seems to be a cracking good light. 8)

I got mine off of amazon, but it's a nitecore, Grant it its about twice the size of a photon freedom, but weight wise pretty much the same, there's like nothing to it. I couldn't take a pic last night cause some of my lights are on timers and I wanted to crash, but I took one this morning, thus why the pic is kinda blurry cause I couldnt hold the ipad straight, I'm just not awake, lol. But it lit the whole room up! I'll have to do a compare side by side pic to the freedom, maybe tonight when I'm awake and the rooms are dark.

Thanks to you and Milhouse I ended up getting one of these to try.  Just got it in but so far I'm happy with it.  Smaller and lighter that the kind of thing I'm used to carrying but still has multiple levels (and a variable setting none-the-less) and the High is bright enough for indoor work.  The LED is actually a pretty nice colour as well, cool white for sure, but much much better than the normal blue tint you see from 5mm LEDs.  I'm very happy with it.

Make that an S10R :salute: I did a little comparison "Mini Comparison: Olight S10 vs. S10R" and I truly think the S10R is better.

It will definetly be the S10R.

I can't decide between a little more lumens in a larger light, or getting a Foursevens Atom for the smaller size?!?

Olight i7R Ti
Tiny, 2-mode flashlight. What is special about it, is that you turn it on by pulling it off your keychain (pulling it out of its magnetic endcap). It also can be switched off the traditional way, be unscrewing the head.
The R in the name of course means its re-chargeable :tu:

Cool, I'm curious what you think about this one! I was interested in it, but then... I reconsidered. It's mostly a ... one-second use light, because if you lose it for longer, the battery will die rather quickly? Then, can you access the low 1-lumen mode all the time? Or do you have to wait for the battery levels to drop for you to get to 1 lumen ?!

Truth is, I haven't bought a light for maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany months. I only got one of the Sipik clones as a present in January.

I don't know how many lumen the low-mode is (but I would guess its more than 1). You can access it all the time, even directly go to low mode when taking it off the keychain...

Tightly screwed on head: high-mode
Slightly loosened: low-mode
Loosen more: off

Thanks! :tu:

This makes it a far better light :D For some reason the instructions I read long ago didn't specify that. I was left with the impression that only once the high "burns out" do you get the low.

I like it :tu:, although I think its perfect for people who use their light often as it can be easily detached and stowed.
According to some internet sources there will be a Aluminum version later on. Probably a better price deal.

Oh, I wish you good luck with this! It's been my favourite light ever so far, but the damn thing just stopped working  I'd seen lots of negative YT reviews on the P2, but I bought one despite everything. It was quite reliable most of the time unless you overtightened the tail cap ... thinge or unless you did another thing in the wrong way (hehe) until it eventually stopped working. I did use it a lllllot for 6-7 months, though. I think I'd buy another one if the prices hadn't gone so ridiculously high... just I'd have treated it more gently this time.

It's in!

Overall it's fairly bright for such a thin light.

The only thing I don't like so far is that the tail button rattles in the smallest way possible. I don't think anyone else would notice, but I do.

It's my first ever pen style light. If I can't get used to something so small I'll order an Atom. Or Fenix.........

Not one I've heard of before but if you're talking about the V11A then I think it looks like a solid light. :tu:
