All Armytek's seem to have such a nice ano. It looks really matte and grippy.

They do. They feel very solid, in the hand.

Found this Surefire G2 ( ? ) light for a buck.  I was hoping the led ( P60L-WH ) would transfer to my E2E Executive Elite, no such luck  :(.  Running off 2 CR123 with about 11 hours just don't cut it for me.  Hard to pass tho for a $1 tho.

Olight S1 Baton

Uses the CR123A/RCR123A battery, same as the big brother S10R. Its quite a bit smaller and with its blue details also prettier :D
I also just saw, that there is a S10R II available. Maybe I have to update :D

Easy to see, that the S1 is not only shorter but also thinner
S1 diameter: 21.1mm / length: 61mm
S10R diameter: 23.1mm / length: 73.4mm
Also easy to see, that the emiter/lense setup has been updated, whatever that means...

The S1 has a wider beam pattern. I would also say its a bit brighter (not from the picture though)

Count me in with an LD02  :D

Early impressions,  :tu: great little light with nice light spacing.  I like how it comes on in M-L-H and of course the clicky is great.  The pocket clip is eh, I reversed it and it held very secure on my ball cap last night while changing a battery on a friends car.  I'd like to see a larger hole for a split ring tho.

All things said I am really liking this light.

Nice!  That one is on my list.

For now, just a P2 body to stretch out my Preon 1.  I didn't have any 2xAAA lights, so this was a nice addition.

Yeah, for this pirce of the light, the pocket clip is actually horrible.  The light is great overall, but the clip sucks. I wonder if it wasn't designed/made to fit lots of other models/lights. Despite the clip issues, it's been among my fave lights  :tu:

Totally agree with the clip.  I only ever use the clip on my ball cap when I want hands free use.  I reversed the clip and its ok.

Update on my Surefire light,
I like the light for home usage.  I got several CR123 on the cheap so running a couple in this light for as sporadically as I use it isn't bad.  I dig the light and the output is enough for what I need it for.

I've had my new Zebralight SC62w for just shy of a month, now, and have been extremely impressed with most everything about it. The interface is so intuitive (and flexible - an added bonus), I can finally understand why so many people have raved about their lights :-)

Cheesy iPhone picture - superb light. Here it is, at work. I use it very heavily there, and most everywhere else. It really is a solid little piece of engineering.

My only true complaint about it is the miserably loose pocket clip. I hate it. I usually carry it in the holster that came with my Nitecore EA11, on my belt, right next to my iPhone 5S; but today, I tried pocket-carrying it in my front left pocket, at work, right next to my EagleTac P20C2 Mk II (I still like pocket carrying that one because of its momentary function, and great spot beam, for its size.

The clip is extremely disappointing. The P20's clip is so solid, you practically have to tear it out of your pocket, to get it to budge. It's very grippy, and that's the kind of clip I'm used to, if I ever pocket carry a light. It ain't goin' anywhere, on its own. The SC62w's clip, on the other hand, while pretty and slick, is just too loose to trust. It just slides in and out of a pocket, way too easily, for my taste. I generally hate pocket clips, and this is why. I've lost too many lights because I bumped into something and the light went flying, or just got lost, without my knowledge of where it even went (all the worse), and it was too late to recover the light.

I'd really like to pocket carry this light at work (since I'm not allowed to wear it on my belt), but it needs a much more solid clip.

Aside from that, it's amazing...and it's so small. I can't believe how small it is, for how much output it produces. I still can't get over it. The PID is genius. Timed step-downs can really suck, and this (The PID) s the kind of heat management regulation all lights should have, in my humble opinion. It only lowers the output, when it's actually necessary, based on usage and environment, rather than a per-determined time. It just makes sense. I wish all my lights had this kind of thermal management.

Here is a really cool YouTube video, of a guy, taking the light for a lengthy ride on his bicycle, at night:

Found a brand new three D-cell LED Maglite at a local thrift store for a low price. It has five modes, with four configurations. This is now my around the house/yard light. I'm pretty much a lifelong Maglite owner, love their reliability.

Ok so I am in the market for a small pocket light that is a clicky. Can be tail or on the body somewhere it don't matter.

Would like multiple modes and some good brightness for a small light.

Trying to stay away from a 123 battery.

This is something I plan to EDC so smaller over brighter is better.

Any ideas?

Are you thinking small 1xAA or a 1xAAA?  For a small AA then the Thrunite T10 is an obvious choice, but the other I'd personally recommend is the Eagletac D25A Clicky.

Fenix LD11 should be more than great, I'm buying one first chance I get. I haven't tried one yet but on paper it is a slightly better, smaller version of LD22 (rubber side switch, not the 2015 edition) which is a 2 X AA that I own and am greatly fond of.  :tu:

Since I wanted a tiny flashlight for a while I got a LedLenser K1. Well know brand that has some good flashlights and it was cheap too.

However, the back contact is sticking out... meaning that it can bend in any direction... looks ugly and worst of all, I have to unscrew the tail cap quite a bit to ensure the light does not come on accidentally (but in turn has a greater chance to come apart).

Needless to say... any recommendation? :D
