I was looking at a Fenix PD-35 Tac, or the Nitecore P12 (2015 edition) and the Nitecore went on sale for the 4th of July so I picked one up.  I ordered it with the neutral light option which is more like natural sunlight than the white light version. The light appears yellow instead of white and there's less reflective glare, so it can be used when taking pictures.  I'm happy, so far, but it's only been a few days.

No idea who made it/what is it, but I found this light amongst older stuff and I've carried for 4 days now



Decent output, one mode, single AAA batt, low profile, but heavy and the pocket clip slides away from the main body!  ???

I have had a P12GT for a while now and it is a tough light. Dropped it on concrete more then once with no issues.

Being the throw version it has a nice tight hotspot which is what I prefer and it shrugs off heat like a champ. Can run it on whatever level I want until the battery cries uncle.

Only reason it is not carried much is it is unnecessarily long for a 18650 light and having to reposition your hand to switch brightness levels gets old fast.

I remember doing that as well.:doh:  Given that Maglite are the only company I can think of that work that way I quickly got used to it when I got a few lights from other manufacturers.

Just got a Lumintop Tool AAA. Been carrying it today actually... One thing I like about this one is it starts on mid setting...



Now I'm torn between this and the Thrunite Ti3... Love them both... Guess will have to rotate them depending on situation and mood.

My new headlamp ;) Two emitters, 50-1200lm flood and 50-1000lm throw. Operated independently or together for a combined 2200lm of flood and throw. :ahhh

Got an Olight H05 headlamp for early morning walking / jogging. Very lightweight, good battery life, suitable brightness levels, and nice beam profile. It should work nicely for what I need (mainly not tripping over uneven sidewalks or getting hit by cars). Wish it was neutral white, but it's not too cool. :tu:
