From my limited knowledge I prefer a Buck Vantage Pro been carrying it for over 2 years and have no desire for a different EDC knife.
How can I justify my next multitool?

Oh my goodness...

Best for what?  Self defense?  General usage?  Gentleman's folder?  Hard utility usage?

I was looking at those. I have had a Tenacious for a while now and have not been disappointed.  I have a Endura 4 on the way which should be here tomorrow.  :mail: A Delica sure would fit in nicely.  :D I love the FFG blades.

I'd say Delica as well.  Comfortable to hold, comfortable to carry, steel that keeps a good edge and is relatively easy to maintain (both sharpening and corrosion resistance).  The Spyderhole can be opened with wet, muddy, cold, numb hands and it's a comfortable size for every day usage.

It's not the fastest opener, it's not the toughest knife or toughest steel, and I don't think it truly excels at any one area, but it does many things very well.

I love spyderco, but I also have a love for kershaw.

I love my kershaw zing, and kershaw salvo.
both very solid knives and they are well under $50 each on ebay.
the quality defiantly is there and the price is right.

I've been carrying my zing a lot lately.
its just so light and looks HOT

How about a spyderco sage 1?  I've seen them for less than 100. I prefer the feel of the choil vs the handle of the delica.

Where did you see that? I paid a bit more than $100 for mine. Great knife. If we're staying clearly under $100, I say ffg Delica 4. I have a brown one, and it's a phenomenal bade for the money.

Gonna go with Buck Vantage on this. Griptilian is also nice but don't own one.

I too would say go with a Buck Vantage, in any of it's variations.........

Or a fullsize Benchmade Griptilian........

Can't go wrong with a FFG Endura-4 either......

For under $100 you can get yourself a hell of a nice Buck 110......

I'm not saying these are the best, but they are superb knives for the money. Lots of options for under $100. But.....for what your intended purpose is, that of a general use knife, few of the more modern variety can hold a candle to a more traditional pocket piece. A good quality slipjoint I would highly recommend.

Great Eastern offers a wide variety under $100, here's some that would fit the bill......

Case has many as well in a vary large range of patterns......

As does Queen Cutlery under it's various brands.........

Tons of options out there.  :2tu:
