Going away again.
« on: January 05, 2012, 09:05:33 PM »
Just to let you lot know that I'm heading off once more.  Four day hike this time going from Aberfeldy to Crieff (where Ewan McGregor is from don't-you-know ;)).  Not taking a proper camera with me this time, but I'll snap some phone pics if I remember. :)

Cheers chaps.  As to what MT.org type stuff I've packed; I've got my 84mm modded SAK with me, my bushcraft knife and Bahco saw.

Also I'm taking my Jetbeam Pro-1 (with added head band) and E05 lights.

That knife is really nice. Is it a custom?

It one from a chap called David Batstone, a small time maker that used to sell on ebay.  Not sure if it is quite 'one-of-a-kind', and it sure wasn't made to my specifications, but it may have well have been. I love it. :)

:pok: Try not to freeze! It must be quite cold up there.

Really, since you have a saw on the Victorinox you do not need the laplander, right?
 :D

EDIT: Or leave all behind and get one of these:
