Hey everyone, I've been a target employee for almost a year now. I've been watching the multitool area for months now and a few weeks ago the leathermans and gerbers hit clearance. Today they went to 50% off. I got a skeletool for 34.49 so be sure to check your local targets, as it's very likely that they're clearing out the models that will soon be retired.

I'm gonna try Target later. $50 was too much for the Skeletool last time I saw one there but $35 is a steal.

Awww... I tried two Targets. One had the Freestyle marked down to half off, but was out of the Skeletool, and the other one still wanted the initial clearance price of 48.78 for the Skeletool. Maybe I'll try again in a couple days and see if they've dropped to $35.

I just got back from my target.  No sales and very few knives or tools.  They either already had a sale or they just aren't going to stock any of the quality tools anymore.  I always miss out on the good stuff.

If there's 3-4 left I can almost assure you that price will hit the 50 off mark in another week or so. They usually roll over on Sunday or Monday. Just call in next time.

It was actually the last one. Interestingly there was no clearance sign or sticker, and it was on a locked peg, which is probably why it was untouched. Maybe I'll try again in a few days, it's only a couple minutes from me.

Do you know what other models should be on clearance? I know the Blast (or was it the Kick?) and the Freestyle were on clearance when I saw them a few weeks ago, but the other of the Blast/Kick/Fuse trio and the Style were still full price.

I know the skeletool, freestyle, and blast are on clearance. I believe target will start carrying new models of each and the wave should get cleared for the rebar when the time comes.

I haven't seen a Blast in a store other than Cabelas around here in a loooong time.  Wally world has a few Fuses, waves, and ST300's, but that's all they ever stock in our store.

If i go to Target my wife will come, any savings i would find on multitools will soon be over powered by the shopping carts my wife will fill up, therefore i will just pay full price,,,, just kidding i will check out mine today.

The Targets by me marked them down a while ago, but not this far. Will check local target in 1-2 hours.

I just got back from my local Target. The LMs were marked down a bit, but not by all that much, a Skele for $50 is about what I paid for mine a while back. They did have some good prices on Vics, Spartans with key fobs for only $10 (they're out of them now  ), and they also had a Camper for only $20! Grabbed that too... The Dick's Sporting Goods next door had Blasts for $40, decent markdown. Awful lot of BG labeled Gerbers there now as well.......

Just checked my Target, no Leathermen were marked down, the only had 1 wave and 1 blast and 1 style cs.
