Someone else wanted the fishscaler! :D

I also used a fishscaler on a saw layer backspring for this one so the fine flat driver could go on the back.  It needed 2x 0.005" washers made but other than that no issues at all.   :tu:

So I think the title of this thread is not very accurate.

That is all.

:D

Whoa a mysterious bucket of something ... exciting eh!

Yes, for me it is!  This is the coolant Ive been waiting for, for my mill.  If its good enough for Tesla motors machine shop, it should be ok for my SAK mods. LOL.

Its only sold through distributors, so I called one up and asked to order it.  I figured it would come fedex or UPS etc, but a sales rep drove over yesterday and dropped this off.  Im sure they mostly deal with big shops but I happened to be in his territory amd I sure appreciated that great service from Toronto Lube.  :D

This is a 20 L pail that mixes 10:1 so it makes 200L of coolant.  Seeing as I need about 10-15 Liters for my sump this should last me the rest of my natural life.  It was about $250 though.

From my research it dramatically extends tool life, and helps for killer surface finish and I just didnt want to deal with other issues the cheaper coolant has, like eating paint or causing rust.  So seeing as I'm going all in with this new mill I didnt want to cut corners on the coolant and just went for it.

So... ya im excited to have a pail of goo delivered.  :D

The very last thing I need to do before cutting parts now is to finish sealing around the front doors so the coolant wont leak out.

The super tinker is still holding strong as number one 3 layer mod request.  :D

I am officially out of brass liners for 91s now and they will be the first part I make on my mill.  I had to give myself some pressure to get on with it and get some parts made.

I've been swapping back and forth between the super tinker I bought from you and the Cybertool Lite you upgraded for me.  Although the Cybertool is still my favorite (can't thank you enough for hand cutting those brass liners) for numerous reasons mostly related to my job, I've become very fond of that super tinker - particularly the Phillips in the back.  I can understand why those tinkers would sell well.

I think this is the first waiter I ever built....  84mm is a nice size, I only wish it wasnt so hard to fit all the bigger tools on this frame.

And here is a pretty neat explorer.  No corkscrew, but a full wrench scale on back instead.  I also made a cutout on the inside through the Ti and brass liner to allow nail access to open the awl.  Worked out just fine.  :D
