Quote from: bdjeep on February 07, 2012, 05:30:54 AMHere is a gray NATO on a small Citizen Eco-drive: Bm8180-03e.. i got one, cept its still on its original green canvas band... wanna sell me yours so i can ave a spare? Actually got a second one on layby atm, but bm8180-54a, black face, orange second hand instead of the red, and has small orange seconds numbers at 10sec intervals, metal bracelet. Its one of the ones i want to nato.. either rescue orange or military brown, either in pvd. I have been trying to find another pre-loved BM8180-03e on ebay but the last 3 this month have all sold for more than local retail!Other things i've been wanting is an automatic diver on ebay.. but even the crummy-est seiko/citizen watch with beaten up, chipped and battered watch goes for a fair sum... i guess they are great chassis for Modding.. what is a good site to look into what this involves? The final watch will be a certain sexy doomsday casio ... just need to finish this work contract in this week or so.. It becoming vey apparent that watches are what i'm using to substitute my tool and knife habit
Be carefull of seiko divers from the philipines (no offence intended) but theres plenty of bad ones and ive be warned off them by people who have had ones that have turned up not working and built up from incorrect parts.

I have comparison photos of a fake vs. real somewhere.I have found that the best place to buy Seiko divers is from the Singapore sellers on ebay. They have the best prices by far, good service, and very good feedback. Even better would be buying used from a watch forum member in your same country, if you can wait around until you find what you are looking for. Buying in an actual store will cost you twice the price or more. For watch modding parts, I went to 10watches.com.That little Citizen eco-drive is the only watch in my photos above that I don't still own.

He said it were the newer models only, the monster divers he never had a problem with.
That little Citizen eco-drive is the only watch in my photos above that I don't still own.
