Cool Tool info please
« on: February 05, 2012, 08:42:03 PM »
I have a Cool Tool and would like to ask, did Gerber make them all or only the ones with Gerber stamped on them  the one I have has the same patent number but not stamped Gerber, just Cool Tool. Sorry if I've missed this info elsewhere but having a bit of a kerfuffle at the mo and trying to sell some stuff and getting in a right pickle :P
Leatherman CRUNCH Wanted, see trade section, thanks.

Hi BW, sorry to hear about your kerfuffle. :-\   The Cool Tool was first made in 1990, in both stainless steel and titanium versions. Gerber bought the company in 1995, which is of course when the GERBER name first started appearing on them. Hope that helps! :salute:
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
