In case anyone is wondering after seeing the pics of the Range Bag Tool, Picatinny Tool and Ripple, yes I did quite well at the CRKT booth at SHOT this year! This next piece is another one I was drooling over last year. While I prefer the functionality of a multitool over a dedicated knife for EDC, anyone who pays attention to my ramblings, I also have a special interest in small fixed blades. And, they don't come much smaller than this, at least not if they want to remain functional!

Designed by Flavio Ikoma the Keydashi is designed to sit unnoticed on your keychain (unnoticed by anyone but the sharp eyed members of the ever vigilant TSA

). Rather than a relatively bulky kydex sheath the Keydashi uses a similar concept to the KISS knives- a chisel ground blade held flat against a hunk of metal to keep it from accidentally slicing anything you've become attached to.

To release it, just grab the knife and squeeze the release bar with your thumb.

To put it back, just fit the first bolt into the hole and rotate back into position and it locks into place. Simple and effective.
For such a teeny knife it has a significant cutting edge, and the rounded nature of it makes it handy for cutting since the edge is never straight on to whatever you are cutting.

You probably won't win any major cutting contests with this one, but if you want a featherweight that can punch like a middle weight, this is one well worth looking at.
